Good idea for the YT channel… I think that my product’s likely market might not be able to be found most easily via AdWords. I tried $5 budget per day over 5 days on AdWords to drive traffic with different ads, keywords, and promo offer on the landing page. I also added an about me section, a book chapter overview and a clear contact form to the page to try to give it more of a trustworthy look. In total, the $25 spend only drove 2 email signups.
Rather than a sign of failure, I think that it is data to show that it is really hard to adequately demonstrate the value of a product like a book (or something complex like your product) through a simple landing page with hardly anything to show around it. I still feel excited by the idea of writing the book and I am pretty sure that there is a market for it out there, I just need to find it and have something meaningful to show them. All these validation tests provide is data points, so we have to figure out what to do with those data points once we have them :)
